Join us for the San Diego Herpetological Society (SDHS) Monthly Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm PST in Balboa Park. We host an exciting and educational event featuring guest speakers, including hobbyists, researchers, scientists, students, and herpetological veterinarians, who will share their expertise on a wide range of reptile and amphibian topics.
At each meeting, you’ll have the chance to:
- Hear expert presentations on herpetology topics ranging from species behavior, conservation, herpetoculture, disease management, fieldwork, and more!
- Bring your favorite herp pet for Show and Tell—we love seeing everyone’s reptiles and amphibians!
- Learn about rescued herps in need of fosters or adopters. If you're interested in adopting or fostering, this is a great opportunity to connect with our team.
- Enjoy light refreshments and connect with other herp enthusiasts in the community.
Whether you’re a seasoned reptile hobbyist or just beginning to explore the world of herpetology, our meetings are a fun and welcoming space to meet like-minded individuals.
Please note: All ages are welcome, but some presentations may be more suitable for audiences aged 12+.
We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting and continuing our shared passion for reptiles and amphibians!
